The Rhodesian Ridgeback should represent a well balanced, strong, muscular, agile and active dog, symmetrical in outline, and capable of great endurance with a fair amount of speed. The emphasis is on agility, elegance and soundness with no tendency towards massiveness.

Ideology

My aim is to breed hounds who are sound both mentally and physically; Dogs who live a long, healthy life and are a pleasure to live with.

If the kindest souls were rewarded with the longest lives, dogs would outlive us all.

What you get with a Kxoxo puppy

Lifetime support of the breeder and a basic manual to take care of your puppy.
A puppy that has gone through Early Neurological Stimulation.
A puppy that has been raised partly following the Puppy Culture protocol.
A puppy that has been dewormed at the age of 2, 4 & 6 weeks.
A puppy that has been microchipped and has been registered to the Finnish Kennel Club & Dog Registry by Finnish Food Authority.
Veterinarians health certification done at the age of 6 weeks.
Food the puppy is used to eat and a puppy pack with miscellaneous products.

What I expect from you

I only sell dogs to families who agree to do extensive health testing for their dogs. With ridgebacks this means taking official xrays of hips, elbows, shoulders and spine. This has to be done between the age of 24 months to 30 months.
The dog must be socialised well from the critical age of 8 weeks to 12 weeks, and it does not stop there. With a young dog the first 2 years can be hard and it is important that you are able to provide the dog the mental stimulation and physical conditioning it needs. After the first two years life should get a bit easier and more laid back. I highly advice you to take your puppy to a puppy school, even if you are an educated dog trainer yourself.
I don’t require frequent contact, but I do like to hear from time to time how the dog is doing. If there are any health issues or some challenges with the dog’s behavior, I always want to know that so I can help you and also take this information into account when planning for a litter from a relative of your dog.
Most importantly, I want all Kxoxo puppies to be loved and well taken care of members of family.

Our Bavarian Mountain Hound litter was born in February 2026.

Our next Rhodesian Ridgeback litters are planned for the end of 2026. We are planning to breed both Rozi (Kxoxo Ice Ice Baby) and Ruu (Kxoxo Cherry Boom Boom).
